United are playing surprisingly well, Giggs and Rooney especially.

It was our best performance. We just need some serious finishing practices...rooney giggs and valencia were amazing today, as well as a very good 2nd half performance from kagawa that he can hopefully build on.

The rumours of Moyes falling out with Van Persie are quite worrying though.

Quote
Manchester United striker Robin van Persie has become frustrated and ‘disgruntled’ with manager David Moyes’ training methods, and believes he has become more susceptible to injury because of it.

The 30-year-old finds the training patterns completely different compared to Sir Alex Ferguson’s regime. While strike partner Wayne Rooney has been benefited from Moyes’ hard training patterns, Van Persie probably feels the other way round.

According to Goal.com, Van Persie believes he is being over trained. It is understood that the Dutchman had exchanged heated words in the build up to the Manchester Derby where he missed the game, after suffering a groin injury in training, which the Red Devils eventually lost 4-1 at the Etihad.

The former Arsenal star believes that heavy-duty sessions do not suit his explosive style of play especially now that he is at the advanced stages of his career.

Well, Van Persie hasn’t said anything explicitly in the public and it will be unfair to make any comments at the moment. But it might well happen that he is struggling to cope up with the hard nature of Moyes’ training patterns.

Meanwhile, Rooney said about Moyes’ training methods during the international break:

“The training is different, there’s a different style, a different way of thinking about how he wants us to play. Honestly, the training has been so hard. We’ve done a lot more running. Long running, quicker running, sharper running.

“I feel that’s really benefited me. I feel as fit as I ever have done. I had a couple of injuries pre-season but I feel great and in good shape. It’s a mixture of things, but I am happy and I am enjoying my football.”

this is where watching the game instead of watching livescore is beneficial. united were superior in every aspect of the game, they dominated posession, they won almost every 50/50 ball, they played great attacking game and hit the post a few times as well as creating a lot of other very good chances. the RS keeper had a pretty good game too i'd say.

It's from two days ago.

Here's another one, too long to quote here, worth a read - http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2013/oct/23/david-moyes-manchester-united-bad-start
