China overpays 3 times over what an european club would pay. But yeh, thats how China works...


If china wants to have a top league, they need to mass purchase well known names so the league has well enough recognizable players

At this rate it looks like China is going to progress in less than 5 years more than the MLS has in 25. Private investors are taking over clubs and spending massive amounts on decent players, and the government is making serious investments in improving the youth system so that they can find and develop the dozens of potential world class players a pool of 1.4 billion people must have.

Mls couldn't even do this if they wanted to, with the salary cap and such.

I wonder why China has been so bad with so many people XD surely they should be one of the best in Asia..
