gotta say, impressive performance by schalke. i did NOT expect that at all, even though madrid is not at its best at the moment.
they actually had a pretty good chance to make it into the next round tonight and it would not have been totally undeserved imo...

although i hate them i have to say: respect, schalke - well played. winning in madrid is no small feat...

One of the better games I've seen in a long time. Schalke was the better team and it's a pity that the first game held them back.

Huntelaar, Sané and Höwedes particularly impressive. Good game.
