0-0 FT, both teams had chances, but we had more. 1 point isn't good enough

Hércules 2 - 2 Mallorca

We were winning easily 0-2 in the 81st minute ffs. The team is psychologicaly made out of glass, the moment we concede a goal it all goes down the drain... Hércules had 7 chances in the last 10 minutes, 3 of them after they got the draw. We really should have won that game, not just because we had everything under control for 80 minutes, but because our squad is far stronger than Hércules'. Herculés is in a finacial mess, the team no longer one that can fight for promotion to Primera, a mid table finish is the best they can get now.

It looks like Fernandez his job is on the line, after drawing against Oostende, I think his time at Gent will unfortunatly be over by the end of the weekend Zark :(

Shame really, really like him as a manager and as a person, but if he doesn't get the results he will unfortunatly be booted

damn :(

Our manager, Oltra, is also in a very delicate situation after only one win in five games, being knocked out in the Copa's first round, and apparently some issues with some players that he didn't want in the first place but are in the club because our president Serra Ferrer extended their contracts. I'd hope it all works out andd he doesn't get sacked; sure, he's somewhat responsable about the situation, but the main problem is the president and I thnk that with a bit of patience things might work out. If we don't win tomorrow he will probabaly be sacked... wouldn't mind Víctor Fernández taking over if it happened though... but I'd want both managers to keep their current jobs and get their teams to perform.

Mallorca will be playing home against Mirandés. Mirandés promoted to Segunda for their very first time in 2012. They promoted with hardly any budget after a incredibly succesful season where they also reached the Copa's semifinals after ko'ing 3 teams from Primera. They struggled to avoid relegation last season (nobody really expected them to avoid i, so it was actually a geat season for them). This year they started really wel with 9 out of 9 points, but they only got one point in their next two games... which is still grat for them, because in the end their squad is one of the worst in Segunda. Mallorca needs to win, and the rival is much weaker... not getting the 3 points would be unacceptable.

Really don't want to see neither sacked at all, we need more coaches like Fernandez in the Belgian league imo.

Gl on tomorrows game! Meanwhile OHL will be playing runners up champions Zulte Waregem tomorrow, it's an away game so I don't expect any points vs Thorgan Hazard & co.

Mallorca 1 - 0 Mirandés

Well, we got our second win this season, annd our first clean sheet (our first keeper Aouate was benched, so it looks like after Miño's recent performances while Aouate was playing with Israel have made our manager finally decide that we needed to change keeper). This is all great, but on the other hand the team played like crap during the 2nd half against a much weaker rival and we were lucky we managed to win. Hopefully these 3 points will give the team a confidence boost, and allow the players to stop playing with a feeling of constant stress and fear that they are going to mess up again.
