Hehe I had the same feeling when Mascherano arrived, I could really see him being awesome at regaining possession of the ball, but somehow busquets just fit the style better and i think it Will be the same now with song, eventhough the thought of song being the first choice is Nice.
He also add some muscles to the team, which at times are needed badly
