well that is exactly the point. when a player is through on goal and has no free player to pass the ball to for an easy tap in, a goalkeeper HAS to commit. he HAS move towards the striker to narrow the angle and put him under pressure, give him less time to think and place his shot...
it would most definitely have been a gk mistake to just stay back, sry...

Have you watched a single Chelsea game after Mourinho left? Because Costa is not playing that dirty anymore and it seems like he have had big conversation with Hiddink about that, too bad he missed the oportunity in 24th minute but it was more like a great goalkeeper save than a miss, could've been a different game. It's 50/50 imo, if PSG leads in the rematch it will be a mountain to climb, but if Chelsea gets the first score we've got it all in our hands.It's good to mention that Chelsea was without their both central defenders and their defensive midfielder and that matters believe me. Our right defensive flank was unreally bad.

I agree but not if the angle is like in that situation. (When a player comes from the side, with this angle, never give up the post/the corner. I learned that as i was a gk as a kid xD)

Had an old account in here just recently found the d2 cds and started playing back but i wasnt able to either remember acc's pw or mail. Dont got fg in both accounts or either got transfers between them so i hope this doesnt qualify as multi.
