I didn't see the footage of our players not going over to Karius after the final whistle, it's embarrassing and unacceptable.

gg, nice performance from your boys (except Karius, ffs, wtf was up with him :wallbash: ).

Unlucky that Salah was injured, real shame :(

I know the defeat must hurt, especially after those two ridiculous blunders, but I have to say that the future might really shine bright for you guys. Klopp is a proper manager, you're bringing in Keita to boost the midfield... get a new keeper and some depth and you guys will surely be back in a final soon.

I think this season, despite ending on a sad note, is one that you can be proud of. You have reasons to be optimistic about the future.

Do you reckon Ramos injured Salah on purpose

Nah, Salah grabbed Ramos first, also Salah is the one that barged Ramos over, then Ramos held his arm because he isn't letting him get past him, a bit like grabbing a shirt to stop them getting away from you. Ramos then lands and uses his left hand to break his fall but it's trapped in Salah's arm and causes the hyper-extension. He's concentrating on the ball the entire time and even wins the challenge with his left foot.

It's a rough and tumble midfield tussle, could Ramos be less heavy handed and careful? probably, but it's Ramos, he has the worst disciplinary record in La Liga for a reason, he never holds back and is often careless. If you want to claim it's purposeful without any evidence or knowledge of his intent then that's your prerogative.

There's no way in my mind that Ramos would think 'this will get him off the pitch and end his World Cup', also there is respect between the 2 of them

I didn't make a claim, I asked for an opinion. It could be unintentional, but what makes me have my doubts is the way he locked out Salah's arm in hyperextension and kept hold of it as they were going down. Pretty dangerous stuff either way.

I didn't say you did.

What about his incident with Karius?

Didnt look like anything to be honest, he was tripped up and hit into Karius, if it was truly an elbow to the head, Karius would have felt it and not continued immediately after.

The real villains are Liverpool fans, sending death threats to Loris because of 2 goalkeeping mistakes in a football game. Retarded.

Doesn't look like it tbh. They were both tugging on each others arms, and Salah was unlucky that Ramos got the last tug, as they were falling. It was unfortunate that he fell that way. I don't know why someone would realistically think that a player would want to injure someone else on purpose... I mean, sure, Ramos is one of those CBs that "marks his territory" to try to distract, intimidate or submit the opponent... I think we all know that, but that's very different from wanting to injure. There haven't been many instances in football of players deliberately wanting to injure someone else, and this one doesn't seem like one.

They were pulling on each other for a few seconds, this is very clear, and Sergio's thoughts during the last tug were probably "if I'm falling then you're coming down with me", not "fuck you, I'm going to destroy your shoulder". It was dangerous play by him and I don't excuse that, but it doesn't take away the fact that the fall was unfortunate.
