Do you reckon Ramos injured Salah on purpose

Nah, Salah grabbed Ramos first, also Salah is the one that barged Ramos over, then Ramos held his arm because he isn't letting him get past him, a bit like grabbing a shirt to stop them getting away from you. Ramos then lands and uses his left hand to break his fall but it's trapped in Salah's arm and causes the hyper-extension. He's concentrating on the ball the entire time and even wins the challenge with his left foot.

It's a rough and tumble midfield tussle, could Ramos be less heavy handed and careful? probably, but it's Ramos, he has the worst disciplinary record in La Liga for a reason, he never holds back and is often careless. If you want to claim it's purposeful without any evidence or knowledge of his intent then that's your prerogative.

Doesn't look like it tbh. They were both tugging on each others arms, and Salah was unlucky that Ramos got the last tug, as they were falling. It was unfortunate that he fell that way. I don't know why someone would realistically think that a player would want to injure someone else on purpose... I mean, sure, Ramos is one of those CBs that "marks his territory" to try to distract, intimidate or submit the opponent... I think we all know that, but that's very different from wanting to injure. There haven't been many instances in football of players deliberately wanting to injure someone else, and this one doesn't seem like one.

They were pulling on each other for a few seconds, this is very clear, and Sergio's thoughts during the last tug were probably "if I'm falling then you're coming down with me", not "fuck you, I'm going to destroy your shoulder". It was dangerous play by him and I don't excuse that, but it doesn't take away the fact that the fall was unfortunate.

What about his incident with Karius?
