Next season that goal wouldn't have counted. From next season ANY touch from the hand/arm that results in a goal, is disallowed.

Many top pundits and officials have come out to say it shouldn't have counted, and asked why they didn't show the angle I posted earlier when you can see the trajectory of the ball clearly affected and deflected onto his hip.

the way i understand it so far is that its only about directly scoring with a touch from the hand/arm

From what I've read and from the interviews I've seen with past officials it looks like doesn't matter where the hand is, unnatural/natural/it was going in regardless type of thing, it's a foul.

If it was a defensive handball, it wouldn't be a pental ... so it's should be a goal imo
