I'd like to see sometimes a mid of luiz-kante-cesc/Oscar.
He offers more going forward than matic, we would try this is a non big match

My problem with Luiz is he is brainless but he has great ability, passing, tackling, athleticism. It's similar to how I viewed Bonucci before Conte sorted him out.
I have a feeling that Luiz under Conte will be a monster

It depends. There isn't much more that I'd like if Luiz became a world class defender. All we need to do is get him to be consistent. If anyone has watched him before they could/can tell he has the skill and brains, just he's inconsistent.

His match vs Chelsea @ the bridge was one of his amazing performances. Especially that header

ok but, both are 29 now, Conte had years to develop him so that now in his prime he is good to go (Bonucci).

Also Italian center* defenders are simply better than any other nation (imo and not just now, last few decades) and the domestic league offers a playstyle to cultivate this as well.
