Chelsea sold him literally several months AFTER Mourinho left and was already out on loan to roma at that time.

He was correct in saying salah wasn't ready at that time, that they had a bunch of wingers already, and that he was better suited out on loan or at a different club if there was a good offer.
They sent him out on loan when mou was there.

The idea that he should have predicted Salah would develop into a top scorer years later and therefore should have kept him is a laughable premise in the first place.

yeah he wins something once in a while, you forget that he is spending more than any other coach in the business and sent several good players away who became great somewhere else
not to mention sending lukaku away after he missed that penalty against bayern, only to buy him back at united for over three times as much

there is no need to be nervous, our team is >> united and will continue to do so

Thats the nature of the business. A young kid who isn't ready to play for a top club now might turn into something good somewhere down the road and his value will increase. Or he might turn out to be a scrub.
You dont hold onto every kid forever hoping he turns into a prime salah or de bruyne or lukaku.
