A long term injury usually destroys a player both in terms of morale/confidence/puttin the leg in/fighting for the balls but most importantly in terms of fitness. Plus there is a risk the same injury can come again.

Keeping it Arsenal related, rosicky never fully recovered from that 1 season-out injury. He was a joy to watch when he arrived from bvb, a top or nearly world-class midfielder. Although he has been overperforming this season, he is ages away from what he once displayed on the pitch.

Time will tell i guess.

Rosicky has been "overperforming" for the past 4 seasons now.

And another premier league season is over! This one was very strange, we were in the title race for a long time, but as we can see now, Ramseys injury definatly cost us the title.
Nonetheless this has been a succesful season if we do manage to pick up the FA cup, another top 4 finish aswell, we are the only club in the PL to do this!

SHE WORE A YELLOW RIBBON AND WERE GOING TO WEMBLEY

Fabianski to play cup final.
He've been superb every game he played so far this and last season, even though it wasn't many starts, he deserves this before he leaves.

Nice to see Diaby back on the pitch, but I really think Wenger overvalue him a lot. This time though, he've come back with a good timing. He'll play a whole pre-season!
Should help him to strengthen his old injuries. But afterall, it's Diaby, you know he'll get injured....

IF diaby can stay fit for atleast a month, he's worth keeping. Such an underrated player when he's fit

He've been above average every game at least.

But superb that game against Liverpool

BUT, I think getting a long pre season will be healthy for him.

Wow, did he say that?
That's GM of him, even though injury came through his work.

Yeah, shows what kind of person he is, never gives up aswell.

When I was at the Emirates, and they announced his name, the stadium went wild like it was Thierry Henry coming back

Most likely isnt true but according to Tancredi Palmeri

When Wenger rejected Monacos offer he said If we win the FA Cup I stay with Arsenal, if we lose I retire

Says its true for the sake of discussion what do you guys think of that?
