What's Kabouls status atm?

Well he's still recovering, but he's in full training since some time and I'd expect him to feature against Monaco.

Given that Verts is injuried, I'd rather see Dawson - Kaboul in our first match than Cardiff-bound Caulker or even that young Vlad.

I might be subjective but i see Vlad one class over those two to be honest. Not only he's a good defender and have a good vision of the game, but he also go up and scores spectacular goals. Not to mention that Milan, Roma, Chelsea keept an eye on him and didn't got him because they didn't offer the right price which was 8mil €.

Vertonghen was easily the best defender in the league last year so I very much doubt he is in a class above him. Kaboul was also Tottenhams best defender before he got injured. I think you are being abit bias to be honest.

It is very possible that the owner of Steaua cancel the transffer because Spurs wants a fast deal to be done while our boss doesn't like the idea of being pressed to sign the papers which will lead to cancelling the transffer. We want to use it in CL playoff and that's why don't want a fast trade Maybe we can still keep it until winter break but i highly doubt.

Our only fully fit CB at the club has just been sold to Cardiff. What a fucking JOKE. Caulker is such a talent. I wish him all the best.

we are going to regret this decision immensely in 2-3 years, future stud that lad is and already an excellent defender that can only get better
