remember.. he played against 2 very strong teams these days.. real and barca deserved to win the title.. and against barca he had many injured players.. and yes it is a big reason.. have you ever played footbaal? i mean good amateur football like oberliga or something not kreisklasse.. if yes.. you would know.
i am playing football for 20 years now, played on the second highest u19 level (regionalliga) and i have 5 4th league appearences, around 15 on 5th level
had the pleasure of meating some now professionals like son or besic when they played in hamburg
bad ankle injury knocked me out of there and tbh i overperformed at the time, but i am quite content with what i achieved with the talent i got
still playing on a decent level
to peps crap in the cl semis
1. vs madrid
he did not bother at all to make preparations for madrids simple counterattack play
defense way too offensive so that two of the fastest footballers around (bale+ronaldo) could make runs behind the defense
slow possession play couldnt break reals tight formation, but he didnt care to change something
line up was crap as well, he left the key player javi martinez out to sacrifice all defensive stability
a missing javi and the fact that pep does barely train corners or freekicks led to madrid scoring easily from those and breaking through midfield easily
pep made a change in the end, when we were 4:0 down in the second game.....
2.vs barca
genius idea to mark the 3 best forwards atm man to man without anyone to cover, here is a pic
again no tactics against counters and barca scored 2 of their 5 goals when they fired the ball forward from the defense
midfield line up was an absolute joke, xabi, schweini and a still injured lahm had no chance to keep up with the likes of rakitic or iniesta
he had a fully fit rode on the bench to deal with that......
