i think united dodged a bullet with herrera. they don't need him. especially not for that price. bilbao tried to pull a 2nd javi martinez but it didn't work.
i mean he's certainly not a bad player but £ 30 million? i don't think so.

the real fuckup would be if they fail to sign fellaini imo...

Even if they paid 40m for him, it would be worth it, United would have been totally done without a new midfielder like him.

I agree - but Martinez at 40 mil turned out to be massive for Bayern.

I haven't seen enough of Herrara to even know if he is worth that much but he did knock United around a bit 2 years ago.

I agree. Herrera for more than 20M€ is ridiculous. At least Javi Martínez was consistent for Athletic; Ander has a few amazing games but then there are amny other games where he's useless.

Coentrao is random though, what is he going to do? Play RWB when Rafael is out?
