aside from shitty linesmen...from my experience the offside trap is kinda overrated, i only use it when i am the last man and have a clear shot
so many goals could be prevented if players were less rigid with the defensive line and try to match an opponents run for a change
perfect example is that atletico goal in munich, some halfass offside trap attempt from a player like alaba who is easily fast enough to go 1 on 1......fucking horrible
