gento? kopa? trying to prove you're a real fan, huh? imo they don't belong on that list. neither do beckham or gullit. figo is debatable too. other than that a good list of european legends...

Why pick out Gento and Kopa out of those? They were better than Cantona, Raúl, Best and the ones you mentioned.

Yeah the player with the most UCL titles in football history isn't a legend. Gento's place on that list is as good as any one except the first 3-4 I mentioned. Figo? He won a ballon d'or playing the the same era as Zidane and Ronaldo... how is that debatable?

because i'm sure he hadn't heard about them before they recently came up when you told some rand which players he should know if he wants to be a real fan in your eyes...
and because gento's career with the national team was so unimpressive...

i'd be fine with swapping kopa for cantona though, you're right about that one...

Loool it was me who brought up Gento, not Zark. Go check the thread again, he posted AFTER me. I've known about Gento for ages.
