How can you take a league seriously when the top club buys its rivals best players

what a stupid thing to say, really... ofc the bigger clubs buy the smaller clubs' best players. and all clubs are rivals, not only those from your own league. real does it to its cl rivals and competition. city too. united and chelsea did it to both...
basically every club does it. dortmund and liverpool too. even mainz...

but hating bayern MORE than those clubs is just arbitrary and really really stupid. i think it's because most of you obviously have no clue how football was before the oil money came (even before bosman).
and even your so called "argument" (bayern buys in germany ONLY to weaken the league so we have a nice excuse to spew some hate) can easily be refuted:

although bayern prefers to sign players that already played in germany / are german (but let's not forget players like robben, ribery, thiago, shaqiri... or players from their own youth teams like müller, schweinsteiger, alaba, lahm, badstuber...) it's not because their primary goal is to weaken the league or one particular opponent but rather to strengthen their own team. every team in the world tries to do that, a shame so many people hate them just because they are very successful at it.

and it's been their philosophy for quite a while. the advantages of bundesliga players are that they generally can be integrated into the team faster because they know the league and the language and usually they are cheaper than players of the same quality from epl, la liga or serie a for example.
also bayern can't and don't want to compete with the ridiculous transfer fees paid for players like cronaldo, ibra or suarez. because we actually HAVE financial fairplay in germany...

if bayern were to suck all of a sudden, would stop winning titles and doing well in champions league, if they stopped buying and planning sensibly, they'd only have a limited time frame to recover. they'd lose sponsorship deals that came with their success, they'd lose their best players because the wouldn't be able to pay them and so on... and no sugar daddy to infuse them with some of his oil money helping them through the rough time without titles and shocking european performances...

the only thing i don't like is how they go about it sometimes. the little remarks to signal a player their interest without contacting the club first or publicly discussing their opponent's financial state... then again, you could call that clever and more importantly: all the other clubs do it too (most likely BECAUSE it's clever) - especially those whose fans complain the most about it...

for the trolls and illiterates here (tl;dr): your hate shows how clueless and hypocritical you are. hate on.

lol squier how long did it take you to write that? so mad

of course you've made some points about bayern that are fine but this topic is about reus and your original comment in regards to his move to man u/liverpool is wrong I think. Especially considering Liverpool is a great team in the best league and will get top 4 this season. Man Utd will take more time but they will get there
