with Suarez: even odds
without: dortmund i small favourite untill Reus/Hummels/Reus will leave

as clubs, i rate them equally, both are second biggest clubs in their respected league, both have epic stadiums, both tend to be forced to sell their best players...

i like Liverpool much more though

Btw he has won the Carling cup with Swansea in their first season in the prem. Liverpool is his first shot at a big club, and so far he has delivered
It's Laudrup.
Rodgers only managerial achievement so far is getting Swansea promoted.

Liverpool plays in a much more attractive market and is considered one of the big 4. So wins by default.

Just for those morons who have no fucking clue how Dortmund looked like when Klopp took over:

The finished on place 13 in 07/08 (3 places above the relegation zone).
Their best player was Mladen Petric.
The club was financially weak.

In his first season, he finished 6th, then 5th, then won the league twice.

Brought in Subotic, Schmelzer, Santana, KP Boateng (^^), Großkreutz, Bender, Barrios, Piszczek, Kagawa, Götze, Lewandowski all before they were champions and all for a small price.

Managed to convince Reus to come to Dortmund instead of Bayern.

Dortmund didn't have a single expensive flopping transfer under his watch.

His first, unexperienced season in the CL was bad, but since ~ 3 years, they don't have to fear anyone in Europe.

sry but that it's a "given" these days is pretty much klopp's achievement. you obviously know nothing about bundesliga or dortmund before klopp. and that'd be ok if you refrained from posting such uninformed crap.
rodgers is certainly a good manager but what klopp has done with dortmund, the players he developed, the success he had with the team despite constantly losing his best players... i'd rate that higher tbh...

funny how actual arguments are always "rage" for you, that tells a lot...
and here are just some of those you claimed knew that it was klopp's achievement to improve them so massively:

Rodgers> By far
Klopp managing 1 of the 2 teams that'll win the Bundesliga every year for the next ~20 or so

I was aware of klopp improving them however some points:

Dortmund are still the second biggest club in germany
Dortmund were very successful in the 90s and early 00's
Dortmund and Bayern for the last few seasons have had the top 2 slots tied up easily, effectively allowing them to focus on the CL more
Its not like Klopp has went to a shitty unknown german club and turned them into world beaters.. dortmund were simply a sleeping giant who were under performing when he joined

Because Liverpool would be 1st in Germany?
And? The club could have disapeared few years ago...
Focus on cl? They had to fight in order to stay 2nd.. Leverkusen and Schalke fighted hard.
They weren't underperforming.. They were bad and had no money.

you make some fair points, dortmund obviously always had potential as a football club / city but still, saying it's a "given" considering where they came from is a huge overestimation. hamburg and schalke maybe even berlin and köln also have the potential to be great football clubs, much better than they are currently but they don't have klopp... he really made them what they are today and that was not an easy task or a natural development at all imo...
