Mahrez is a fitting replacement and he can play as CAM or out on the right, which is good for squad rotation. With Keita also coming in the summer we'd be good for attacking midfielders and wingers.

Still, with Can going to Juve in the summer we need to start thinking about getting a proper holding midfielder. Hendo, Gini and Milner (and maybe Ox) do not provide adequate protection for the back four when playing in the 2 holding positions. Klopp likes playing 2 box to box midfielders in there but I think 1 box to box and one holding is more balanced.

With Gomez being a beast, TAA being solid and Robertson looking the part recently, I don't feel like a LB or RB is a priority anymore.

From now to the end of the season, I think we should make Karius our No 1 and see how he does. He hasn't had the chance to really prove himself yet and at his age he could improve massively, whereas we know full well that Mignolet's deficiencies won't ever go away after being here 4 years. It's not like Minge is better than Karius right now by any noticeable margin...

If Sturridge goes, which seems very likely at this point, we should look to bring in a mobile no 9 that can hold the ball and link up really well. Not sure who fits the bill at this point.
