No, you'd need to finish 7th to go to EL.

The 3rd EL spot gets transformed into a 5th CL spot, it's not that a 5th CL spot is added. That's why Spain had 5 teams in the CL and 2 in EL this season.

There are only 2 ways you can have 5 CL spots and 3 EL spots:

1. This is really complicated and kind oof confusing: Neither the Cup or EL winners qualify for a european competition through their league (Utd would need to finish outside the top 6 and Liverpool outside the top 7, this way the 5th, 6th and 7th would go to EL while the 8th would go to the CL), but in any case that wouldn't affect Chelsea as Chelsea can't get top top 6.
2. The league get's a lucky extra ticket through the Fair Play draw (like West Ham last year).

Would be interesting to see what happens when Leicester happen to need a win against chelsea in the last round..
