And considering how Australia needed to go to playoffs and Portugal only avoided playoffs in the very last day of the european qualifiers by beating Switzerland, it could have been worse.

Pot 2: Spain, Peru, Switzerland, England, Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay, Croatia

Pot 3: Denmark, Iceland, Costa Rica, Sweden, Tunisia, Egypt, Senegal, Iran

Pot 4: Serbia, Nigeria, Australia, Japan, Morocco, Panama, South Korea, Saudi Arabia

No more than two european teams per group still applies, right? I guess that the strongest and weakest possible groups would look like this:

Brazil, Spain, Senegal, Serbia (picking a non european team from pot 1 so I can pick one from pot 4)
Poland, Peru, Tunisia, Panama
