It's more a case of the final nail in the coffin tbh.
He's been terrible performance wise for a while now and his attitude hasn't been the best. He got kicked out because he indeed made a fuss about his seat not being available (due to COVID rules) and Clement decided to leave him home.

Fully understand his decision, guy just doesn't have the right mindset and Club don't really need him.
