Yes now, after he left. But he said he felt like the spanish players had alot more credit than him, these are his words that I'm saying, so it's not speculation

I don't understand how he can complain about the way Madrid's fans felt about him... they rated him higher than he deserved tbh. Since during the last 3 seasons he was pretty much the only creative player in the team (and the crowd at Bernabeu loves players with an exquisite style of play), he was always treated very well by fans... this is why many fans protested when he was sold.

He wasn't consistent during his years here so the club decided to sign other midfielders, and instead of being stimulated by the competition and fight to for a spot in the regular starting XI, he asked to be sold. Madrid was planning on selling Di María at first, but while Mesut reacted badly to the new signings, the argentinian began working his ass off, so the club decided to keep him instead. And looking at Di María's performances this season it definately wasn't a bad choice...

Yeah, I'm just saying what Özil said himself, he has a big attitude, defiantly needs to work on that

you've always hated him and taken any chance to discredit him... there's some apples and oranges stuff going on here. and plz don't try to make it sound like they sold özil because of his bad attitude, while di maria stepped up, that's perez propaganda, just like the woman and party bs, don't be so naive. di maria stepped up AFTER özil was sold. but how does that prove it was a good choice to sell özil? first of all, di maria only shines against small opponents - the very thing you criticized özil for. i listed the number of goals and assists özil had against the big teams last time we had this discussion. what has di maria done in those games against barcelona and atletico for example? exactly, nothing!
same with isco, the man you thought was better than özil anyway, the man who, lets not forget about that, cost € 30 mio. and let's not even begin with illarramendi... so you judge özil by criteria you don't apply to the players you think have proven it was a good decision to sell özil... haters gonna hate i guess...

sure, özil is not a perfect player but i think if you let him do his stuff and put some decent players on the pitch around him who are capable of converting his assists he will continue to prove himself as irreplacable and extremely valuable...

ya, wenger was obviously wrong here but it's not like robben wouldn't do that or hadn't done it before. if you have such a reputation or if you overact it too much it can backfire.

btw, that's exactly why city conceded the 1st goal against barcelona. it WAS a foul on navas but he tried to make too much of it and did that awkward jump fall so the ref thought it was nothing and let play on...

This is wrong, I simply lost my patience with him. He didn't progress at all while at Madrid; he came as a good player and left while being at the same level. I consider him to be a good player, but lacks consistency and invisible in big games. This doesn't mean I hate him or I would never want him in my team (I just wouldn't want use him in big games).

Di María kept asking publicly for a chance during the summer, saying that he wanted to stay and work hard for a spot in the XI, even when everyone thought that him going was a certain thing. Obviously we only saw him step up after Özil was sold because only 2 official game were played before the transfer was made... Ancellotti said that he had worked very hard during preseason, and considering the player's public requests to stay and his performance this season, it's most likely true.

And I didn't say chosing Di María over Özil was the right choice, I'm saying keeping Di María has turned out to not be a bad choice. Maybe if Özil had stayed he would be doing well, idk, but it's obvious that Di María has been performing very well this season and that no one in the club regrets chosing the argentinian.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan of Di María either, but I like the attitude he has shown and he's performing consistently for once. Like Özil, he has given some assists against big opponents though. He gave the one that allowed Cristiano to score against Barça and win the Copa during extra time, for example.

Isco has played very well this season, actually. The problem is he can't play in Carlo's 4-3-3, which is why he has been benched ever since the 4-2-2 formation was changed. Ancellotti admits he's being unfair with Isco, because his performances have been good, but he doesn't have room for a CAM right now.

Are you seriously comparing Illarra to Özil? They are very different players, which play in different positions... with completely different experience aswell, since Illarra has only just reached top level football and doesn't even play for the national team yet.

Sure, as long as the game isn't a semifinal or a final.
