Özil seems to have quite the arrogant touch when it comes to his teammates, had a bust up with Flamini yesterday aswell for him not defending. Had a discussion with Mertesacker earlier this campaign too.

he needs srs work on his mental state of football he refuses to play d for some reason when he is a decent defender and has the conditioning and speed to do it well.
Sure arsenal can turn him around

its not like he doesn't work tho, as the stats said he was one of the players who ran the most, he just has this lazy attitude appearance.

yes, flamini yelled pretty ad at him
and still no reaction
the same with merte, when özil didnt want to go to the fans
yesterday a big mouth on facebook and another failure in an important game, thats really the worst
ibra has a big mouth as well, but he always delivers

at sky germany they claimed he ran 11,5km yesterday, but ok not that much of a difference here
i dont know how fit you are, but i can do 11,5km low intensity running in 90 minutes and my stamina on greater distances really is quite shitty xD

kroos ran "only" 11km and still did much more

11,5km is decent tbh, Flamini ran the most I think with 14km?

Freunde stehen zusammen. Also weiter gehts. Poldi

Everybody is disappointed because of yesterday's result. However, that's football. It's not fair to diss Mesut. Critic is part of sports and this is good -but polemic is not. Picking one player out doesn't help the collective and the whole club neither! He's an outstanding player who will make all of us happy in future. A missed penalty won't change that. This happens to me and to every footballer. Friends stand together. So lets go! Poldi

14km would be insane
i always look up the bundesliga statistics and there was no one in the last 3 years that ran that much (a little bit high that number if you ask me)
but around 13km is entirely possible ^^

but i wouldnt depend too much on the numbers, as i said, that 11,5km of özil were mostly without any speed at all

would have been much better to run maybe only 11km but with much more intensity
players like götze or müller from bayern ru 11,5km in any shit in bundesliga

but this was a last 16 champions league match

Yeah but still it shows that Özil works indeed, he just needs to be more defensivly. Everyone at Arsenal has to defend aswell, that's just how it is.

wenger really should kick his ass a little bit along with his teammates
attack and tackle him until he stands his ground and fights back^^

but i dont think wenger wont be up to such a rough method :D

I can see Wenger doing this np, the fans just need to stick behind Mesut, since that was why Özil wanted to leave Madrid in the first place, the fans didn't appreciate him.
