Alright my toughts on the game

It was definatly an entertaining match (more than city-barca), felt the penalty killed us off, don't get me wrong it was the right call, to bad the red card rule is so stupid..

Positives:

-Sanogo: had such a great game, felt no pressure at all, really looking good
-wilshere: the fighting spirit we needed
-Arsenal's start, who knows how it would have ended if Mesut converted the pen

negatives:

-Özils form: he needs to improve ASAP, he definatly needed his winter break, I suggest benching him vs Sunderland
-couldn't score at home: shame really, felt like we deserved a goal

Nonetheless, everything is still possible but I'm remaining realistic, proud of my team!
COYG!

Despite rooting for Arsenal tonight i can't point out the obvious. They just dont got the mentality anymore. What the fuck more clearly chance u want than a penalty when it was 0-0 it was complete turning the game after Arsenal started it in a good shape. No offense but now i expect a huge drop in the form of ur team now, they tend to do that after losing important games in such way.

You seem to forget we were a man down, the penalty should have been converted yes, but after that it was just holding back and try and seek a counter attack.

must agree this time of the year we fuck ourselves, our defense is actually good, our attack and midfield arent there supposed to be our strong point.

FA CUP and top 4 for us

I never said you were outplayed just because they're the overall better team. The red card & penalty for them was huge blow for Arsenal and it turned the game in Bayern's way for sure. I even think Arsenal could've won without it but we can only guess. Still...if the gooners have scored their penalty nothing guarantee there would've been penalty + red against them late ;) By the way i think there have been a faul from Robben against Scezcny in the penalty situation, his foot was too high.

@lepInTheHood, imho the biggest blow for Arsenal is Ramsey's injury. He was dictating Arsenal's game for the whole season, probably the biggest change in a player in the EPL this season compared to last, he is huge for u guys.

Ramseys injury has definatly been a big blow, the problem is that Walcott and Ramsey's injury collided together with Özil losing form, therefor Giroud losing form aswell.

Still positive we can pick this up tho, Sanogo can possible score his first in the next match

often times it's even harder to play against 10 men as it wakes up their fighting spirit. today however it seems like they just gave up. wenger obviously told them to hold the result and defend with all men, that was kinda disappointing for a home team tbh...
still, the first 15 minutes were very impressive...

You know there is a second leg, and that you're playing against Bayern. So going all out would have been a huge mistake, could have ended 0-3/0-4 easly then from simple counters from Bayern.

answer me
but you are right, more risk and it would have ended like 5:0
