He's not good enough to be a starter for Barça imo though. I mean, he wouldn't have even played in Madrid's bench team last year (since Isco and James are both far better)...
Sure, he's a good player, and could be a good addition to Barça's squad... but imo not to the starting XI.
Dembélé is a more interesting signing imo. He's very young and has had a great season during which he has shown great potential. I'm not sure if he's ready or not for a top tier club, but if he has the right mentality and he keeps progressing, he could very well be in the short term future.
Liverpool won the 4th place trophy, mate. As a disciple of Wenger, that is the most seductive goal possible and proved to have great pulling power on him.
Our main problem remains the midfield atm (since dembele was signed)
Happy with umtiti progression (stepped up massively last year) pique slightly decling but still decent, masche to step in. On flanks alba/digne + semedo/vidal should do.
Problem is Iniesta still wants first team football, which is beyond reasonable. He doesn't have the juice for more than 45-50 tops.
Rakitic is slightly out of form, personally hate roberto. Curious about paulinho, but i have my doubts.
Andre Gomes i don't rate at all atm, would take 10 mio for him and run for the hills.
Same for denis suarez.
A creative midfielder with pro long passing range should be our top priority atm. Coutinho falls into this category.
Although i wouldnt have paid more than 60-70 mios for him, want to see him signed, regardless of a slight overpay.
Kinda still sad about the bartra/thiago/grimaldo leaving.
Hopefully we get coutinho and with a bit of luck, theyll gell fast and we'll compete.
Atm on paper Madrid wins the league.
