U would agree with fabregas being an 84? He as an 86 in fifa14 and now for some reason they drop him 2 overall?

ratings don't matter. I'm sure he's an 84 because of his physical stats.

overall ratings don't matter that much (except for cardweight maybe with exceptions like cavani). obviously ea fucks them up on a daily basis but you won't notice differences in the actual gameplay. i mean leroy fer is statwise one of the best nif central midfielders in the game despite having a pretty bad overall rating



because the overall rating is coded by a few key attributes. (probably like marking, sliding and standing tackle or something for a defender). but there are several other 'imbalanced' attributes which don't seem to be directly included in the calculation of overall rating (like pace/strength for example) but play an essential role determing the effectivity of a certain player. so you have the strange situation where you might prefer a pacy/strong player with less finishing/defending skills (ibarbo/david luiz) over some specialised attacker/defender (rvp, vidic). the same thing happens with hazard who is basically a weak version of depay. (that might be the case due to strange stat-coding of informs etc.)

I wonder why some players in FIFA feel amazing (only 80overall) and then when I play for example with hazard he doesn't feel like a 89 or 87....

Bought Di Maria for 300k and he's absolutely insane, hope he stays as rm/rw in ut 15.

I think a lot of it is just individual feel and style of play too. I have reus, but i play Lucas, di maria, and schurrle over him because i'm better with them, even though reus has better stats. The coding part is obviously true. Also, i dont think attacking and defending work rate are taken into account at all either. Like dani alves, love him whjen you have the ball, but then he never runs back and plays D with low d work rate. I gotta disagree big time about hazard and depay though, im a thousand times better with hazard than with depay

You do realize that Reus = LM/LW while Lucas/Di Maria are RM/RW (basic cards).
Reus might be one of the most OP players in FIFA 14 (although Schurrle is very good as well, yes)
What team were you using around Reus?
