It's well worth it. Then again im a hardcore gamer so I get my use out of it lol. The new controllers seem to get stuck easier though. Im pretty intense when i play but already had 2 controllers that the joysticks get stuck on.

Is getting the kinect one worth it?

depends on your preference. I got day 1 release so i didnt have the option of not getting it. I never really use any of the visual cues etc, but my mic broke within a month and a half so i use the kinect as my mic when playing online. Other than that the voice commands to me are pretty useless. you can use the controller and do most anything faster than actually saying it. Then again, i have two tvs next to eachother- one for TV with volume on so it is harder for the kinect to pick up on the commands than if it was silent.

I personally don't think it;s worth it right now, but maybe in the future will be more useful

Kinect voice commands are the shit. No need for a tv remote anymore
