the russian goverment is spreading racism and homophobia around to distract from other problems. been done before.
and i'm not anti-russia at all, been there alot and have family there too.

racism is like the most useless idea/view ever.

If nothing is done about the racism in Russia, will it still be eligible to hold the WC in 2018?

Well, FIFA's view on racism is that it can be solved with a handshake, so aslong as the russian team shakes hands with their opponents in every game it should make up for whatever their fans do.

If anything, Blatter will suggest nonwhite people to stay home, or colour their skins white, or whatever... just like he suggested gay people to not have sex in Qatar during the WC.




Seriously though, the ultras that do these things won't be in the stadia during the WC games. Just like the racist ultras in Ukraine caused no trouble during the Euro; I don't think racism will be an issue during the WC.

what makes you think i don't see the difference, especially since i already acknowledged, that the problem is bigger in countries like poland, russia, turkey or italy?
and still. what about his buddy? maybe he did the same just seconds ago. what about monkey chants? there is more than just this one, a quick google will tell you. and not only gestures and chants in the stadium but also racism via twitter, etc. so it's definitely english fanS as well... to say it is only one idiot is simply not true.

anyway, each incident is a shame and a disgrace making you wonder how retarded and narrow-minded people can be.
my point was that there are idiots everywhere so pointing fingers just at russia makes you a bit of a hypocrite...

and concerning fifa - i don't think they are really gonna take the wc away from russia. they will surely condemn these incidents and urge russia to do something about it but the russian government has shown again and again that it's pretty much immune to criticism from abroad (ngo snap-check / syria / pussy riot / gay movement...).
and to be fair, poland and ukraine should have never gotten the euro then either...

if he just wanted to say that the problem is generally smaller in england he should have noticed that i already acknowledged that in this thread before.

There are alot more cases in russia etc than in england, germany or any other big euro country tho..
