There honestly is no one that could replace Coutinho.

He's not that good like dro said. He's incredible and probably one of the best in the world on his day, but a lot of games he can't make himself get involved ans almost hinders the team.

This. James Rodriguez could have replaced Coutinho and would have been better, he was available earlier in the summer too.

I don't 'doubt' Coutinho, he's one of our best players, but I always call it like it is without letting any subjective bias get in the way. The guy isn't world class right now, I think he'd struggle to start for Barca and would benefit from another 1-2 years with us.
