But when your a professional you look past this. I mean, he knows if he wanted to get to Arsenal/Chelsea etc the teams in the champions league he probs could. But in a world cup year he wants to play regular first team football which Spurs can guarantee, the others can't, and even though they may only be in Europa, they can still offer SOME form of european football. A move to spurs would be the best career decision to make and being only 22 if spurs can't make the jump to the next level, if he is good enough there is more than enough time for him to get to one of the big boys.

That's definatly true, and spurs would be the best option for him since they need a striker. But this wont bring him on the good side of the arsenal fans if he ever wants to play there (unless he pulls of a campbell)
