This isn't news tbh and has little to do with him voting in the referendum; he has been booed consistently for almost 2 years now.

i have no idea why se queda has not left the national team already, he is playing for a country that he does not want to be a part of
bye bye
and on top of that we get xavi (i always appreciated the guy) with a video message from qatar whining about a "disgrace", while being on sheik payroll in one of the most repressive countries, where slave workers are dying daily to build stadiums for a joke world cup (he is an official ambassador)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AjSsqYcNWt4https://abload.de/img/jcj0r.jpgjust do us a favour, do some more "lotteries" in the desert with your new friends and shut the fuck up
Personally, I don't mind him playing for us since he has always acted professionally with the team and, despite his separatist ideas, never actually said anything bad about the country. So I never have and never will "boo" him as long as he keeps it that way.
However, I do indeed think that he should be coherent with his feelings and refuse to play for a country he doesn't feel identified with. He should do like Oleguer (crap player, but still did get called up once) who asked Luis Aragonés to not call him because he didn't feel identified with Spain. Instead, he's going the Guardiola route. I hope that, unlike Pep, he at least continues to respect his country after his service with la Roja ends and doesn't criticize us whenever he has the chance and say that he only played for us "for the prestige" as if he had to clutch his nose while playing for us.
So for now I think it's not a matter of the fans, the RFEF or Lopetegui to decide on whether to bann him or not, but a matter Piqué should think about himself. If he wants to be a hypocrite, that's fine by me as long as he remains professional and respectful.
On Xavi, yeah, sadly that's hypocrisy at its finest.
