true. but look at how alonso has trouble to keep up with midfielders and strikers and has to commit fouls so often. you can compensate to a degree by good positioning but it is a huge disadvantage for sure...
and although martinez might have decent pace overall (why do you take everything so personally, ampoo?), he too is about as agile as a tank and ridiculously slow in sprints - but no one can expect him to be 100% at this point after such a long injury...
