15/16 UCL
- Bayern & Wolfsburg (14/15 champions and runner-up) will probably qualify for the quarterfinals, while Chelsea struggle, Arsenal are out and Man City will advance due to the easiest possible draw.
- Both German teams won their respective group with Arsenal (last year's PL third) ending up behind Bayern and Manchester United (last year's PL fourth) being eliminated by Wolfsburg.

14/15 UCL
- Bayern (13/14 champion) made it to the semi-finals and Dortmund (runner-up) was eliminated in the round of 16, just like City. Chelsea and Arsenal were eliminated in the same round, both losing to Ligue 1 sides.
- Both German teams won their respective group with PL sides Arsenal (last year's PL 4th) and City (last year's PL champions) finishing only second/behind them.

13/14 UCL
- Bayern made it to the semi-finals, eliminating both Arsenal (last year's PL 4th) and Manchester United (last year's PL champions) on their way. Only Chelsea made it further than Dortmund, who were eliminated by winners Real Madrid.
- Both German teams won their respective group with PL sides Arsenal and City (last year's PL runners-up) finishing only second/behind them.

12/13 UCL
- Dortmund (11/12 champion) and Bayern (11/12 runner-up) ended up facing each other in the most-watched UCL final to date, while no PL team made it to the quarter-finals, Arsenal (last year's PL 3rd) being eliminated by Bayern.
- Both German teams won their respective group with City (last year's PL champions) ending up in last place in Dortmund's group, not winning a single game.

But I guess your problems with numbers and math start to shine through in your posts again^^
Bayern would dominate PL just as they dominate Bundesliga and even Dortmund wouldn't really struggle to qualify for UCL on a regular basis.

How convenient to start your research from 12/13 season

Bayern and Chelsea made it to the final, while Dortmund didn't make it out of group stage being eliminated by City. That was the last time PL was relevant for international top-level competition.
Then again, that was 5 years ago and doesn't matter anymore. I'm also not saying Bundesliga has ALWAYS been better than PL; just that it currently is and has been for a while now.

For 4 consecutive years the top 2 Bundesliga teams have always left any PL teams behind in group stage, no matter whether it was the current champions, runners-up, 3rd or 4th.

Off-topic, but still a fun fact:

While ~60 Spanish and each ~40 German and French players were used in this year's UCL, English players struggle to keep up with well-known football nations like Israel, Ukraine, Serbia or Belarus regarding their numbers :D

Why can't Germans understand literally no one outside of Germany cares about their tinpot league, German football both domestic and international is a waste of time.

So PL teams regularly losing to and being eliminated by German teams only happens because they don't want to waste their time anymore... sounds like an explanation for PL teams' failures at least.

+ again, most watched UCL final in history

But I guess PL fans must be kind of immune to actual facts and arguments... otherwise, they'd not be PL fans :D
