FABREGAS WANTS UNITED MOVE
The rumours that Manchester United have been given some encouragement in their bid for Cesc Fabregas look set to continue as the Express report that the player's agent, Darren Dein, has told the champions he is keen on a move to Old Trafford.
According to the Express, United's chief executive Ed Woodward flew home from the club's pre-season tour to hold talks with Dein, who also facilitated Robin van Persie's move to Old Trafford last summer.
The paper report: 'Dein told Woodward that Fabregas wants to return to the Premier League and that United and not former club Arsenal, who have first option on the Spanish midfielder, is his preferred destination.'
We imagine this will prompt United into a third and final bid for Fabregas, despite new Barcelona coach Gerardo Martino reiterating that the 26-year-old is not for sale.
The Daily Mail claim United will put in a final bid of £36million for the midfielder. If/when Barca reject it, Marouane Fellani remains David Moyes's chief Plan B.
