Jose Luis Oltra will be Mallorca's next coach. He is only signing for one season apparently, which sounds good considering he has promoted to Primera the 3 clubs he managed in Segunda and relegated the 3 clubs he managed in Primera xD

Thanks. Yes, that's what I also hope :D

I think Mallorca made a good choice, a manager with experience in Segunda and with a few promotions on his personal record. He also got one of our strikers, Alfaro, to perform really well for Tenerife the last time that club was promoted to Primera, so I hope he can do it again. The bad news is that Serra Ferrer said he's not leaving the board and had begun extending the contract of all 4 captains, 3 of which are over 34 years old... they are pretty much past it, and after a relegation it's always necessary to clean up the team a bit. Manzano was going to continue as our manager but he said he'd only stay if they let 2 of the captains go. Serra once again doing the manager's job -_-

Nope, but you did get the name right :D

No news reagrding any of the players. The only rumours for now are that Fiorentina seems to be interested in Pina and Valencia is after Gio. Gio is obviously too good for Segunda so he will certainly leave at some point this summer; we hope we can keep Pina (a promising midfielder; similar play style to Xabi Alonso, but obviously miles behind) but if a club like Fiorentina is after him then there's pretty much no way he will stay, the club will need to sell some players anyway. Betis is also interested in him.

If we can keep Martí (confirmed, he's our 35 year old DM and the only captain that has played well this season), Pina, Márquez (same situation as Pina; he's a creative midfielder) and Hemed (his injury might keep offers away, but he has to lower his salary), we will have an insane team for Segunda.

Ah I see, any news on Ogunjimi's plans? (if he's still property off Mallorca not even sure) I think second division would be the perfect cure for him to get back on scoring tracks.
Another player from the pro league (Jeremy Perbet) was sent to villareal this season and he did wonders there)

Haven't heard anything about Ogunjimi. The only player that is confirmed will come back is Akihiro Ienaga, a decent but inconsistent japanese CAM/Winger we had on loan; although he might be sold during this window... I think he'd do well in Segunda, would be good if he stayed since Pereira, who plays in the same position, will leave (not because of his wage or his level but because he has personal problems with Serra Ferrer).
