Mallorca will be playing home tonight against Zaragoza.

Could be a tricky game. Zaragoza are having an underwhelming season. They were expecting a mid-table finish, but so far they are just a few points above the relegation zone. So we should win this....

However, they are a pretty dangerous away team. They've also improved their form over the last couple of months, after a managerial change; having avoided the defeat in 4 out of their last 6 away games, with those 2 losses being narrow 1-0 results.

We should win this, and I expect us to, but we can't be overconfident tonight. It's vital that we remain focused after last weeks 1-2 win over Las Palmas. Many of the top teams have lost points this weekend, so a win here would be huge.

Away game against Córdoba tomorrow.

Córdoba are last placed (excluding Reus, which folded after the first half of the season ended). They are in awful form and 9 points away from avoiding relegation. This game is as easy as it can get for an away game, so we should win it if we want to fight for the playoffs. It's time to show that the game in Las Palmas wasn't a lucky day and that, despite our disastrous away season, we can also win consistently when we're not home... I mean if we won in Las Palmas, we should definitely be able to win in Córdoba.

That being said, we can't let our guard down. Every game is a final for Córdoba, and they'll push hard at home.

another weekend, another loss. not unexpected against an in form bremen team, but a bit disappointing how it happened. we had some really good spells but as usual didn't manage to score. also denied a pretty clear penalty (that cologne didn't even bother to check - i guarantee you the same situation against bayern or dortmund would have been overturned 100%)...

freiburg next week. according to football math we stand no chance (freiburg beat or drew the same opponents that we lost to in the past 4 or 5 games on the following matchdays - scheduling shenanigans).

Well, there goes our momentum. Our first half wasn't good and we couldn't turn the tables in the second half. It's not an undeserved loss, but tbh it wouldn't have been undeserved either if we had won... the game could have gone both ways.

It's a shame we dropped the points... almost every other team in the top 8 lost or drew their games, so winning in Córdoba would have been huge. It was also our easiest away game left on paper.

But alas, at least this calms the hype down. Hopefully the team can focus. Next weekend's game is already won, as it's against folded Reus... so 3 free points will be added to our tally. Now we have two weeks to prepare for the next matchup... Numancia away.
