kinda shows the level of blundersliga teams getting smashed 6-0 by bayern when we ez'd them on wednesday

true, bundesliga teams are terrible atm. not surprising though considering each of our teams has to rebuild each year after random soulless sheik toy clubs from england buy every half decent player they can get, offering them 10 times the wage they can earn in a club that fills its stadium each week, only to rot on the bench of a team that battles for 13th place in the premier league in front of 250 bored fans...

they are by far not the only foreign investor toy club in the premier league regularly raiding our teams, bayern being literally the only exception to that.
just look at our champions league and europa league participants of the last decade and how many key players they had to replace with new talent before entering european competition in those years. premier league teams regularly signing the best players of our EL and even CL participants, and then people are genuinely surprised (or even proud) they finally manage to outperform the BL for a season? that's cute...

Thanks!

Absolutely huge and unexpected result. Fans are super hyped right now... we're the first team to win in Las Palmas this season, and the first to beat them anywhere since their change in manager... and we're in playoffs after 30 games! Wonderful stuff, but we need to remain focused and calm for the remaining 12 games. There is still a long way to go, and we have many difficult matches ahead... but this is a very nice result that shows we can beat anyone if we play at our full potential. Hope we can keep this up and at least make the rest of the season exciting!

Yeah, suddenly there is some crazy hype. In the biggest fansite, a poll was made this afternoon, and literally half the fans believe we will promote:

What's crazy is that there are more people who think we will promote through direct promotion (13%), which is 9 points away, than people who think we won't make it to the playoffs (11%).

While it's nice to see hype, I hope that expectations don't go overboard. Our team has been focused on a "one game at a time" philosophy, and that shouldn't change. Let's keep calm and anjoy the rest of this great season, and hopefully we will have a chance.
