It's gonna be Valverede, basically decided guys
You sure abut that? Many sources say otherwise. It looks like it's all just speculation at this point and everyone is talking out of their asses.
Valverde has several important points in his favour: he has plenty of experience in La Liga (in fact I think he's the most experienced one out of the ones currently managing here), he knows the club (he had a brief spell there as a player), he's comfortable with passing and possession based football, he promotes kids from the youth system, and he has always been successful (except for a brief complicated run with Villarreal, where he took over Pellegrini's legacy and brought changes that clashed with the team on certain things).
On the other hand he has no experience in a top club, and honestly to me he doesn't seem to have the required blood and mentality to discipline and motivate superstars. He's a good tactician no doubt, but I don't think he's fit for a top team.... imo he wouldn't be able to keep the team together in the long term. Could be wrong ofc, but that's just my impression.
So I wouldn't mind him taking over, since I think he wouldn't do well

On the other hand I like him, so I wouldn't want to see him manage Barça. And I wouldn't want his reputation to be ruined by a bad spell in a big club; he's great for EL level clubs, and I wouldn't mind him as a national team coach some day.
