Debt collectors went to the Premier League champions' Carrington training base looking for the Portuguese attacker, who spent last term on loan at Rio Ave, but could not find him
New Manchester United boss David Moyes has his own headaches with the Wayne Rooney saga - but they are nothing in comparison to those of his Portuguese forward Bebe.

The Premier League champions are well used to receiving visitors to their Carrington training complex, but last weekend was a first.

Bailiffs turned up at the Red Devils' HQ last week demanding to speak with the £7 million flop. United's own security refused to permit the debt collectors entry, who returned an hour later with police officers to search for the 23-year-old.

Goal contacted Greater Manchester Police who confirmed that “shortly before 11am on Saturday 13 July 2013, police were called to a training complex on Isherwood Road, Carrington.

“Officers attended and established the matter was a civil one that is now being dealt with by the relevant parties.”

Bebe had been training that morning but the bailiffs were unable find him.

Looks like he's gonna be homeless again :(

"Chief executive [Ed Woodward] has been dealing with it. I'll hopefully know a little more the next day or so. I may have a bit more information in the next day or so about how it's going.

"Hopefully there'll be some good news in the not too distant future."

Is Shinji Kagawa looking for a move away from Manchester United?

Kagawa appeared on Japanese football show “Foot Brain” on Saturday, and the Man United forward made a statement which pricked up the ears of both Red Devils and Borussia Dortmund fans.

Kagawa said:

Someday I want to return to that team [Borussia], I will be back someday…. if Dortmund is okay with it.

Whether on purpose or not, Kagawa appears to have been dropping hints all summer that life at Manchester United is not all that great for him.

The 24-year-old, who arrived in Manchester last summer, had earlier commented on a tough first season at Old Trafford, saying:

It was a tough time for me with a lot going on in my head. I am not happy with my performance for the team at all. I didn’t score that much and I also had my (knee) injury. Despite that, it was great we won the league, I just don’t feel that I achieved everything that I wanted. For me personally, it wasn’t a good season.

Kagawa made 26 appearances for United in 2012-13, scoring six times.

Shinji Kagawa’s interview on Foot Brain, in Japanese, can be seen below.

Wouldn't be that bad for Dortmund :)
