Sampaoli or Van Bronckhurst would be my pick under these conditions, while also considering Berizzo. I'm not completely convinced about Eusebio being a good manager despite the great season he's having with la Real, and Valverde, as much as I like him, doesn't have the determination and authority needed in a big club. Bielsa is called "El Loco" for good reasons... he's too risky... a hit or miss that could bring chaos to the club.

If they were to widen the search, then managers like Jardim or Jorge Jesus could be good picks as well.

My hometown team, yeah... we won the top division in 2011, was 2nd place in 2010 and top 3 in 2012, along with winning the Cup and playing some EL groups. But, we sold our best players, replaced with shit overpaid. Ownership fucked us over several times. Larsson came along now, when shit was bout to hit the fan and we had a shit team and he couldn't do much with it. So yeah, we got relegated rofl. I wouldn't call us a top team though, we've not been a top team for like four years.

Anyway, I met him two days ago, my dad kind of knows him so it'd be cool.

Well HIF has quite a history afaik. Not as much as Göteborg, Malmö, AIK, etc, but from what the little I know of swedish football they are a pretty decent club and don't belong in the second level. Had no idea the club was in turmoil though; I remember them playing european competitions not long ago, so I figured they still had a strong squad.
