On topic...I'd give him like a year maximum. IMO the sentence is ridiculously harsh and done because of publicity and the desire to make an example of him. Justice isn't dependent on publicity, it should be consistent from case to case. I'm pretty sure a few years ago a female teacher was having sex with a 15 yr old male student and just got given community service.
From a BBC article: "The doctor said he found no evidence in Johnson of an attraction to pre-pubescent children or 'sexual perversion'." This basically reinforces the point I was making ages ago when this story broke out, that yes it is against the law, but the vast majority of 15 year old females do look of age and are fully developed. Most of them look older than males in their late teens/early 20s (I'd put myself in that category).
He is an idiot that broke the law and should be punished as such. Punishing idiocy isn't 6 years in prison.
I was saying the same thing to the guys at work, if a Sunderland ladies player noshed off a 15 year old boy, would she get 6 years? Never.
He'll have it reduced when he appeals and will serve 6 months of it if that, I'm pretty sure.
