but he was already robbed of the wc best player award, the voting for ballon dor is even more of a joke......

my vote would go to di maria, his performances were unbelievable

Would you say that Di Maria>> CR7 for the 14-15 season so far?

im not, but the player of the year consists of the end of the 13-14 season and the beginning of the 14-15 season. So for the latter part of the year, has Di Maria been out performing CR7?

No I don't think so. Although he had a convincing start to the season I'd rate Ronaldo's performances over his. But Di Maria changed club and league and had a longer World Cup so you could take this into consideration but obviously you don't have to.

But now let me ask YOU a question. Do you think Ronaldos slightly better start to THIS season outweighs Di Maria's more than convincing performances with both club and national team? Because I really don't.

I would agree with you that overall Ronaldo is the more valuable / better player but that shouldn't automatically put him above a player who outperformed him this year and clearly was a key player for his club too.

This is where we disagree. I think his amazing start to the season definitely out weighs Di Marias WC performance and the end of his Madrid season. You also say Di Maria was a key player but in that essence, CR7 was the the main reason Madrid did so well. Not just a key player. Would you agree with that?

Mascherano/Ramos is on the list but Aguero isn't?

Is this serious?

Obviously, this award isn't serious, and no one should take it seriously either.

Mascherano is a fine choice though... Ramos is pushing it although I guess it can be justified by the fact he scored many important goals in the decisive part of the season. There are a few debatable choices there.

Hazard, Götze, Iniesta and Benzema shouldn't be on the list if there's no room for players like Suárez, Kun, Hummels or Modric.

i'd vote for müller. but we all know it's not gonna happen...

Last year it should have been him or Rbéry... this year, I don't think he deserves it.

No I wouldn't. Last season Di Maria > Ronaldo for Real. And I don't think that Ronaldo did that much better this season to forget about his total failure at the World Cup.
