Nah... he wasn't really rated at Real Madrid, which is why they refused to improve his contract. He didn't play all the games (although, yes, he played most) and he didn't have a secured spot in France's team either.

I can't see his teammates telling the press that they hate James, lol. Pretty standard ass kissing that goes on for any player moving to a club.

and as for David Beckham, have you ever heard him say a bad thing before? :P
