crazy thing happening in the mainz - freiburg game right now:

in the 45th minute, mainz was on the attack and brosinski crossed a ball into the box. a freiburg player (kempf i think) deflected it with his outstretched hand but the ref didn't see it.
he whistles for half time and freiburg's players as well as the ref are leaving the pitch already, but the VAR steps in and the ref reviews the scene, awarding us a (well deserved) penalty - basically during halftime.
