Agreed. To be honest, I'm not a fan of signing a rival's best players. Pjanic from Roma was one thing, it allowed them to retain Nainggolan and he is not their best player.

Then again Napoli with 94M would be able to do a hell of a lot, they are a Champions League team with a very nice squad as it is.

It seems dangerously prepared for Juventus to sign him though. My god what a squad Juve would have assembled this summer if true

Higuain
Pjanic
Dani Alves
Benatia

Ridiculous

pretty fucking strong indeed, could even make a deep run in the champions league again...

Higuain refuses to show up for Napoli's pre-season. He's pushing for a move.

Juventus, Liverpool and Arsenal heavily linked.

Juventus allegedly have tabled a 75M offer (probably Pereyra, who is valued at 18M + cash).

Higuain has a 94M release clause. If Juventus meets it, or even has the first bid accepted then they will surely be selling Paul :(
On the other hand, Higuain is a world class #9 who I don't like that much.

Well, if you don't want him, I wouldn't mind taking him back

He's very heavily linked to Atlético here. Cholo wants him, and Pipita apparently would be happy to live in Madrid again... but it's complicated. Atlético can't get anywhere near his release clause nor afford to offer him astronomical wages... and Atlético fans don't want a former Madrid icon (plus his recent misses in the last 3 tournament with Argentina have made them skeptical about him being the best option to lead the to the CL title, which has undeniably become the club's short-midterm goal now). As a Madrid fan I have mizxed feelings. I'll love Pipita wherever he goes, but I don't really want to see him playing for Atlético. I'd understand the move because he's bonded to the city, the coach is argentinian, and joining Atlético isn't as much of a betrayal as joining Barça would be (especially when it's not a direct and forced move... Eto'o and Ronaldo were never hated as much as Figo or Luis Enrique, for example), but it's not something I look forward to and I know many fans would be upset.

Not showing up is very unprofesional though. As much as I admire Higuaín, that was dissapoining.

Atletico would be a very nice fit for him. Atletico also bid for Icardi, which was subsequently rejected by Inter (in the area of 50M, Icardi is fantastic but has some character defects and Wanda).

Juventus could easily pay the release clause, with or without the sale of Pogba but surely it will be at the sacrifice of Pogba (but now we finally have a compelling, sensible reason to sell)

they are selling their best players, and still doing more than fine on the international lvl compared to english teams that spend a fortune. quite embarrassing to say the least.

doubt its changing anytime soon. seeing bvb buying guerreiro (arguably a top 2 full back at the ec) before the ec for peanuts, just shows bvb's brain trust is way ahead of some of the english clubs. doing more with less.

bayern lost in the semis just like city, wolfsburg (who did quite shit in bundesliga) was a reason germany had once again a better season than england.

tbh I am all for young players going to dortmund, great place to progress in their career.
No pressure, the league is less demanding on them, and they will get great playing time even if dortmund get poor results.

They will make good money off of some of these young players they bought, and once some of them become world class they will go to the best leagues in the world (England, Italy, Spain, or Bayern/Psg)

If juve/ref didn't fk up vs bayern then Real wouldn't have lifted the trophy.

idk if that Icardi thing is true though. It was leaked by Wanda afaik, and she's just an attentionwhore... her sextape has become old and she needs to be more on the spotlight again :D

Atlético is mostly linked to Higuaín and Diego Costa. And there are also a lot of rumours about Auba and Cavani, but I don't see them happening. And then there are lesser rumours about Icardi and Bacca.

This is true, the same Wanda who said the same of Juventus meeting with Inter last week and tabling a similar bid
Yeah, I've seen the Costa rumours too. I'm curious to see Diego Costa managed by Conte, has hilarious implications
