Because they don't have much depth, rely on a few players and luck with injuries to do well. It's not exactly difficult to see. They had virtually no injuries last season playing a high pressing style and playing 3 times a week.

Every team has those issues. When key players out, game turns kinda boring. Look at barca without messi or Real without modric, city without either Aguerro or silva/kdb, etc Only United fans would cheer a Rooney injury.

Tomorrow is a really nicely poised game.

A comprehensive win could propel us to first with both Spurs and City dropping points.

A marginal win would see us leap above Spurs. A draw would keep us in 4th. A loss, depending on goals against, would keep us in 4th, or could drop us to 5th with United leaping above us.

Hopefully we can batter them!

we've lost a lot of games vs utd since moyes got sacked, last season we dominated utd at home and lost 1-0 to a last minute rooney goal. so im pleased
