If Leicester win the PL, it will cement the premier league as the biggest joke in world football. It goes way beyond the realm of a 'competitive' league and into a circus show. I'm rooting for Leicester to do well, if they sneaked top 6 that would be an insane achievement


You keep saying Leicester winning the league would be a joke. When really one team overperforming isn't that rare. You swap chelsea and leicester positions around and it's a normal season ^_^

Overperforming to that extent is extremely rare actually...so it's far from a normal season. Plus I'd argue that it wouldn't be a normal season even then, because the top teams have dropped so many points and usually there are 1-2 teams 8-10 pts ahead by now

It all points to a declining standard of the premier league, like it or not

How does it make it a joke? If anything, it's the greatest thing to happen to English football in a long time if LC win the league. I personally would love to see a team built the way Leicester have built their team go all the way rather than the usual $$$$$$$$$$ of the Chelsea's and Man Citeh's.

Nearly getting relegated one season and winning the PL the next season undermines the quality of the league, how can you not see that?

Or it shows that new tv deals for everyone else means the monetary gap between clubs is closing. Financial fair play is also somewhat changing the monopoly of the "big" teams.

The more Leicester's that rise in the premier league. The better the premier league will be. It will hopefully show the big teams that money can't buy everything.

Leicester didn't lose by more than 2 goals all season. After just coming up from the championship. Why is having a year to adapt so ridiculous?
