I don't tell people to believe or not believe in "momentum". And I did never manage to think it might exist till the hit of lvl 50. What ever it is/was, I didn't like it. I had no fun playing fut even with my favorite teams. The fun is back now and that is fine for me

yeah, what ever it is, it made my fut time bad. maybe it's just this "new" high pressure custom tactic playstyle which I can't stand. I usually saw it only in div 1 but for some weeks now even the lower divs do it. I should maybe learn how to counter-play this type of gameplay.

I am experiencing the same exact thing.
I thought about filming games and ask some friends to analyze if I'm just being fucking stupid.
I lead at half-time in most games with the opponent not being able to create any chances at all and then I'm getting fucked to the max.
Second half always rapes me. I can never manage simple passes or everything, once it took until the 68th minute to leave my own half for the first time^^^^^^
Every tackle/challenge ricochets directly into the opponent. They literally don't have to move a single meter, it never happens the other way round.
And then ofc conceeding 90th minute headers from fucking midgets like Jesus Navas or Blasczczykowski. inb4 l2defend
