So what you are saying is you assume Messi is innocent? And his father too I guess?
If you're signing the documents, it's your responsibility to know what those are. If you are hiring dodgy people then that's your responsibility too.
Ignorance isn't an excuse. It falls in the "lol everyone's doing it so it's aight" category. I'm not tax dodging. So "everyone" isn't doing it. Why should I have pay my way when one of the world's richest sports players doesn't?
Btw, I'm not saying he is guilty. Just that he has to be held to SOME accountability.
You aren't doing it = a personal choice. I can't say you're either right or wrong. Companies use loans and tax dodgin, same as persons. For instance i could have my residence in a country that asks me to pay little to nothing to the goverment and pay shit in the country i currently live in. Morally is wrong, legally is debatable (see the US case). It's my personal choice. If a country drives the taxes on me nuts, why not look to other options ? Why would you blame me for not picking your option ? And if i own a company, i either push the loans to the max to have capital to invest and money circulating, or, if i am in the profit (bayern alike) i raise my expenses to avoid hitting the huge tax. Buying stuff i dont need instad of giving goverment money. Is that tax evasion too ?
In Messi's case, i think it actually is as he said. Didnt even read, somebody explained to him the big picture, he signed and completely got it out of his mind. If his father or accountant failed to legally do taxes, its their fault, and yes, either them or him have to pay for their fault for blindly trusting them.
The mockery however is utter useless and blatantly stupid.
MESSI DODGES TAXES, OMG
